When deep cleaning a room, it's best to start at the top and work your way down to prevent dust, dirt, and crumbs from remaining on surfaces you've already cleaned. Cut the peel off the fruit and put it in a glass jar. You can use any amount you want, but a cup is a good amount to use. Cover the shells with 2 cups of distilled white vinegar and let it sit, covered in a dark, cool place for a month. Shake the bottle every week to mix.
At the end of the month, strain the peels and transfer the liquid to a spray bottle. Cleaning personnel should apply disinfectants as a third step so that the disinfectant can reach the required dwell time while cleaning the remaining surfaces in the room.
